After years of Paramount’s live-action Transformers movies feeling like they’re over-the-top. The first teaser trailer for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is here to remind everyone that Beast Wars is bigger than ever going to be Transformers has had the better part. Franchise.
The movie’s first teaser trailer introduces the Maximals Optimus Primal, Cheetor, and Airazor, and they all look absolutely stunning.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Trailer
The Movie Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, from director Steven Caple Jr., revolves around ex-army gearhead Noah (Anthony Ramos) and museum researcher Elena (Dominique Fishback), two humans who accidentally spark a conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons and receive are embroiled in conflict.
As is the case with recent Transformers stories, neither Noah nor Elena is aware of Cybertronians such as Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) who is secretly hiding on Earth in the form of a variety of normal human vehicles but unlike previous Transformers films. Rise of the Beasts is set to introduce several Beast Wars Maximals and Predacons – Transformers who are in an alternate form that is based on biological animals. Although Paramount’s recent Transformers films have touched on the idea of Cybertronians turning into creatures. Optimus is completely shocked to meet Optimus Primal (Ron Perlman) in his gorilla form.

The trailer makes it hard to tell if Rise of the Beasts will delve into the Beast Wars story of how the Maximals and Predacons — who are actually from the distant future — suddenly end up in the prehistoric past due to a time travel incident. But it makes it surprisingly clear that classic characters like Airazor (Michelle Yeoh), Cheetor, and Rhinox are going to be in the mix as the Prime and his allies try to save the planet from destruction once again.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts stars Toby Nwigwe, Peter Dinklage, Lisa Koshy, John DiMaggio, David Sobolov, Michael J. Rodriguez, Pete Davidson, and Cristo Fernandez also star. The film will release in theaters on June 9, 2023.
