The Cody family is back, and this will be the final set of episodes for the Animal Kingdom Season 6 series. Like last season, we will follow the current timeline as well as the previous timeline, where we will see Smurf and the kids in the 90s.
In the Season 5 finale, viewers were stunned when police pulled Catherine’s body out into the desert (in Season 2, after the Pope killed her on Smurf’s orders). Animal Kingdom Season 6 will follow as Cody finds out what the pope did while working to keep him out of prison.
But since this is an Animal Kingdom, we can expect more loot and drama. The trailer says that the boys will work together on one final task, which is their biggest task. We can expect to see some characters return from other seasons, such as Deran’s Daddy, Billy and even Scott Speedman as the Baz (although we believe his scenes will be flashbacks).
In the previous timeline, we would start in 1992 and follow Pope, Julia, and Baz as teenagers – presumably, all working for Smurf. We hope Season One shows us their first jobs as a group, and we look forward to learning more about Julia in Animal Kingdom Season Six.

While previous seasons of Animal Kingdom are available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video, new seasons have already been released on TNT. To stream Animal Kingdom Season 6, you’ll need to check out TNT’s website or app. Alternatively, you can use a Hulu Live subscription to watch new episodes. If you are available to watch the episode airing on Sunday, you can use the “Watch Live” feature on TNT’s website to watch the episode in real time.
If you do not have access to TNT, you will have to wait several months before Animal Kingdom Season 6 becomes available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Unfortunately, this series is not currently available for streaming on Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, or other major streaming networks.
