Three brothers in their twenties were arrested in Norway after an explosion outside the US Embassy in Oslo on Sunday. The blast was likely caused by a homemade bomb at the entrance. Luckily it only caused damage and no one was hurt.
The police think the brothers are citizens with ties to Iraq. The police did not know them before. One brother is believed to be the person whose pictures were shared by investigators. The police are investigating if it was a terror bombing.. They do not know the motive yet. They are checking possibilities, including if a foreign country was involved.

The police did a search using dogs, drones and helicopters. The blast happened around 2:00 a.m. On Sunday outside the embassy in Oslo’s Ullern district. Photos on media showed broken glass and cracks in a door, outside the embassy.
Norwegian leaders strongly criticized the incident. Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide said it was “unacceptable” and that keeping missions safe is a top priority.
