Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda and model Lin Laishram tied the knot in a traditional Meitei wedding ceremony in Imphal, Manipur on Wednesday. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony their close friends and family attended.
Randeep shared pictures of his wedding in Imphal on Instagram and wrote, “From today, we are one ♥️♾️#JustMarried.”
Laishram also shared photos from the wedding on her Instagram account, writing, “Forever yours ♥️♾️ @randeephooda.”
Videos of Randeep’s baraat with band and partygoers surfaced on social media platforms, capturing the celebration. News agency ANI shared a clip and wrote, “Actor Randeep Hooda and Lynn Laishram are tying the knot today in Imphal, Manipur. A view of the venue while the ritual continues.”
Fans were eagerly waiting to see the full look of Randeep and Lynn’s wedding. In a new post shared by PTI on X (formerly Twitter), Randeep was seen in an all-white kurta and dhoti outfit with yellow headwear. Other guests surrounded him in a white dress. Randeep smiled as he moved along with the band’s music. In the same video, Randeep was also seen standing before the entrance, where a ritual took place.
Meanwhile, Lin looked gorgeous in a Manipuri dress, a white and pink saree with a black blouse. She completed her look with beautiful gold jewellery. She was surrounded by other close relatives who helped her dress up in a heavy dress. Lin smiled at the media as she headed towards the wedding venue.
The couple got married in an intimate setup with only their family and close friends present. Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram got married in Maytei rituals. In the pictures shared, Randeep can be seen looking completely traditional Manipuri groom, and Lynn was also dressed as a traditional Manipuri bride. The couple garlanded each other during their wedding ceremony.
The wedding venue was decorated in a subtle yet dreamy manner. The decor was done in white hues, with ample seating and warm lighting, which gave the decor an impressive aesthetic. The venue chosen by the couple was Chumthang Sanapung, located in Langthabal, west of Imphal.
Meanwhile, Randeep Hooda and Lynn Laishram arrived in Imphal on Monday 27th November. After reaching they went to take blessings in the temples. Also, Lin and Randeep visited a relief camp in Moirang and Loktak Lake.
During a media interaction, Randeep talked about his love story with Lin Laishram. He said, “It feels so good. It’s honorable to marry in the tradition of brides. However, I’ve heard that the bridegroom has to sit for a long time in Maitei love marriages. So, it’s something else.” I’m waiting for celebrations and traditions. I want to experience the culture of my life partner. That’s why I’m here.”
