Rumors about how Jimmy Fallon died began
Rumors of Fallon’s death began to emerge on Twitter after people saw a post that read: “It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of late night legend, husband, and father of two, Jimmy Fallon. 1923-2022.”
The post also included an old photo of Fallon with his dog.
People fell for the fake post because the photo looked like it was announced from The Tonight Show’s official account. However, the actor is alive and well.
Viral post cancellation
The first clue that the post was fake was the year of birth. The post states that Fallon was born in 1923 when he was actually born in 1974.
The television personality is 48 years old, but judging by the year written on the post, that would mean Fallon is 99 years old.
Apparently, someone who is very good at photoshop and editing has tricked social media users into believing that Fallon has died.
