In a statement, The Flash star Ezra Miller said, “I want to apologize to everyone that I am concerned and upset by my past behavior.”
After disturbing behavior that led to accusations of molestation and felony assault. As well as assault and battery charges, Ezra Miller says he is seeking treatment for “complex mental health issues.”
In a statement sent by a representative to The Hollywood Reporter, Miller said, “After recently going through a period of serious crisis, I now understand that I suffer from complex mental health issues and have begun treatment. I have all I want to apologize for being. Concerned and disturbed by my past behavior. I am committed to doing what is necessary to return to a healthy, safe, and productive state in my life.”
He also recently ran into legal trouble in Hawaii, where he was arrested on two separate occasions earlier this year. The first stemmed from an alleged drunken incident at a karaoke bar in March. Miller was arrested again a month later when he was accused of throwing a chair at a 26-year-old woman.

The statement comes after a year where Ezra Miller has been the subject of much controversy
Miller, who uses the pronouns he/they, was arrested in Hawaii on two separate occasions. Once for disorderly conduct and harassment after an incident at a karaoke bar in March, and again in April for an alleged assault involving Miller. Accused of a striking woman on the head in a private residence. The 18-year-old’s parents filed an order of protection against Miller, accusing the actor of grooming their child until the age of 12. (The child denies being coerced by Miller in an Instagram post.) Recently, Miller was charged. After allegedly taking bottles of alcohol from a vacant local home in May, with a felony in Vermont, where the actor lives.
Following a series of scandals, the fate of Miller’s most high-profile project, the DC title The Flash, has been questioned. THR reported last week that studio Warner Bros. was exploring several avenues for the big-budget film. With the press limiting Miller to release as a last resort or to save the project was involved it was then reported that. Warner had received indications that the 29-year-old Miller, whose mother had moved in with the actor, would seek professional help.
“The Flash,” which stars Miller as the super-speedy Barry Allen, is set to open in theaters on June 23, 2023.
