Legendary Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Saudi Arabian club Al Nasr, the team announced on social media on Friday.
The club tweeted a picture of Ronaldo holding the yellow number 7 Al Nasr jersey and said: “History in the making. This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success but inspire our league, our nation, and future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves. Welcome @Cristiano to your new home @AlNassrFC.”
Ronaldo’s representative did not disclose the terms of the deal when asked on Friday. CNN has reached out to Al Nasser for comment.
