Karan Johar wishes Neetu Kapoor for her granddaughter Raha. As soon as she heard Raha’s name, Neetu Kapoor started talking about her granddaughter. Neetu told that because of Raha, she has a lot of fights with both Alia and Soni Razdan. Explaining the reason for the fight, Neetu said, ‘The child is growing up, so I teach Raha to say father. But, Sony says no! She will say Mama first. Karan starts laughing after hearing Neetu’s words.

Neetu Kapoor recalls her fun banter with Alia Bhatt over Raha and shares how she reacted when Alia told her that the little girl had called ‘Mumma’ earlier. Neetu laughingly said that she is happy that Raha is saying ‘da-da’ and not ‘na-na’. She said- So, I went home the next day and Alia said, ‘Oh, by the way, she said mumma. So, I said, she did not say mumma but she said mmm-mm. So, don’t be so happy but she is not saying ‘na-na’ but ‘da-da’, so I am happy with that.

The actress said, ‘We had a great time, especially with Yash ji (Chopra). We used to party at night, play Antakshari, act silly. That was really a lot of fun’. She further told that at that time Rishi Kapoor was a ‘strict’ boyfriend and he did not want her to party. He always used to say, don’t do this, don’t do that, come home.
Remembered Rishi Kapoor’s last moments
During the conversation on the show, Neetu Kapoor also talked about spending time with late actor Rishi Kapoor in New York. She said that she wants to remember the good parts of their relationship. For me I don’t like to remember the sad part. I like to remember the good parts of our relationship and the time we spent in New York’.
Talking about Rishi Kapoor, she also told that Rishi was a person who did not openly express his feelings towards her and their children Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima. Thankfully, he changed during his time in New York and displayed love and affection towards those close to him.
Let us tell you that before getting engaged on April 13, 1979, Neetu dated Rishi for some time and then got married on January 22, 1980. After marriage, both of them had two children, daughter Riddhima and son Ranbir Kapoor, due to which Neetu stayed away from acting. However, now Neetu has returned to the screen again.
