    It had been almost four years, but it felt like an eternity. The wrestling world was treated to a spectacular performance from Dwayne Johnson as The Rock Returns to WWE SmackDown on Friday night at Paul Arena in Denver.

    The Rock thrilled fans by appearing during a verbal exchange between Pat McAfee and Austin Theory on the Blue Brand’s inaugural segment.

    As soon as the famous entrance music cue was heard, the crowd erupted. The wrestler once again displayed his aura and charisma and wooed the fans with photographs and autographs before entering the ring. The Rock’s return was met with a thunderous ovation from the crowd.




    Stepping into a segment between Pat McAfee and Austin Theory, The Rock and Theory engaged in a war of words before making the foolish decision to eliminate The People’s Champion.

    He elbowed both Johnson and McAfee’s people.

    The Rock Returns to WWE SmackDown

    The Rock was in Boulder, Colorado on Friday morning for an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. There’s less than an hour left until WWE SmackDown in Denver, so there’s been a lot of speculation about The Great One’s possible appearance on the show.

    In his interview with McAfee, who now works for ESPN, the former WWE Champion said that he plans to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. However, due to various circumstances, this could not happen, but he also teased it happening at WrestleMania. 40 in Philadelphia the following year.

    According to Faithful Select, a member of McAfee’s team told their source that The Brahma Bull and former WWE commentator will be on SmackDown tonight. This has not been confirmed but reports say that Boulder is close to Denver.

    What did The Rock say about facing Roman Reigns?

    The Rock broke the Internet when he appeared on The Pat McAfee Show on Friday. With the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike still ongoing, the 8-time WWE Champion has plenty of time left. It looks like he will have time to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40 next year.

    “WrestleMania is in Philadelphia,” The Rock said. “I’m saying it’s a possibility. I’m open, I’m open. But let’s figure out again what that is because the fans deserve something incredible and unprecedented. Not only that, but I want to deliver to the locker room. I want the boys and girls working there.”

    One of the most successful wrestlers of all time, The Rock became incredibly ambitious for Hollywood and made a name for himself through his exploits in the ring and on the microphone.

    He has been a part of several million-dollar screen productions and has carved a niche for himself in the industry in the years since he retired from the wrestling business. The Rock’s return to WWE SmackDown was a major news story and a huge moment for the WWE Universe.
