Marvel’s Hawkeye Jeremy Renner has undergone surgery after suffering “blunt trauma to the chest and bone injuries” following a snowfall over the weekend in Reno, Nevada.
He added that the 51-year-old actor, who is in the intensive care unit of a local hospital, remains in a “critical but stable” condition.
In a statement to Entertainment People, Renner’s rep said the “Hawkeye” star had surgery on January 2, the day after he had an accident while plowing snow at his Reno home.

Local authorities said Renner, the only party involved in the accident, was airlifted to the hospital on New Year’s Day.
